Touch screen sizes!

Hi there, I'm a new member here. My 1st question is:
Why hasn't anybody, at least I haven't seen anywhere, denounced the fact that many drones are currently being advertised as having a 7.2" touch screen controller but in fact, we only get 5.5" of active screen? This is puzzling to me, any logical answers to this?
ie. I've sent back a drone I've purchased because of this false claim

Well, I’d guess they are doing the diagonal stuff (top corner to opposite lower corner)

Roughly the diagonal on a 5.5 x 4.6 is 7.2

What do you mean? I've already said.that the diagonal is 5.5'". I measured it myself...

My bad, I didn’t see that you mentioned diagonal.

I have always figure the diagonal measure was cheating … or saying …. <some number>class (diagonal) and it’s actually a little less…

Maybe a controller that you add your own pad/tablet too would work better. I’m gonna try my sons iPad at some point , just need to maybe get a holder thing from Amazon
