New HOVER Air X1 Pro MAX

Just got myself a new X1 Pro MAX drone. I went all out & bought the All In-One Combo Kit & I've spent the day charging all the items that needed it. (Batteries, Beacon, Power Case, Joy Stick, etc)
Got the SD card formatted, got the app downloaded on my phone & all the firmware updates completed ....So, now, I just need to get out & learn how to fly it ....
I do have two other drones. One was a pain in the rear to use. Then I got a STAAKER drone, which I really liked because it was weatherproof, but it didn't have any obstacle avoidance. It was kind of difficult to pack around on my ATV & used a GoPro HERO 6 camera. When I upgraded to the 8, then 10, then the 11's ... none of them fit the cage, so I quit using that drone. Looking back however, there was nothing wrong with the HERO 6. (Maybe I should break out that drone again?) And they don't even sell them any more. SO ...........

Hope this little piece of plastic with blades does what I'm hoping for & is relatively easy to fly ... and doesn't hit a tree ....

I think you're going to like you new toy! It is very capable and follows well. I personally have enjoyed flying it like a conventional drone via the Beacon + joysticks as well.

THANKS rsjVERG Guy ... I flew it a little in the backyard using the beacon. Trying to adjust the height of the different flying modes. I need a table or another person maybe, to use the drone & beacon while I look at the drone app to see if I can make changes to the different flying modes.

Can't wait to try it out on an ATV ride to see how well it can follow me.
