Solar activity aka solar flares create electromagnetic radiation that can affect GPS accuracy.
I use a chart from geomag.bgs.ac.uk to give me an indicator of current K activity over my country. I tend not to fly if it is G2 or above (which isn't very common). Am I being prudent or over cautious? Has anyone had solar activity issues? Is it possible unexplained control events are actually Kp issues and not drone malfunctions?
