The FAA DroneZone page states " Attention airspace authorization applicants, please submit requests at least 60 days prior to the proposed operation date"

So, if I ask Laanc for authorization in controlled airspace, I have to request 60 days in advance? I recently asked for authorization, and was authorized within 2 hrs.

I got a text stating I had been authorized.

I'm confused??

No you’re not confused. You are looking at the FAA Drone zone. That requires an authorization thru drone zone. Just use aloft for laanc with b4ufly. And you’re good to go in a few minutes, as you already have done. Use flight auth apps and you’re good.
B4ufly is an app that shows your drones position on the airman. Pilots use this.
