Hey everyone,
I recently joined this site, hoping to share my own experiences and knowledge with others and to learn from others as well. I have been flying drones recreationally for 5 years. Currently, I own the EXO Ranger 7 Plus drone without the obstacle avoidance. I purchased one with obstacle avoidance first, though, and in my opinion, I'd rather not have it on my drone. It's a cool idea and all, but I feel it's not necessary for me to have one. Some other brands I've flown are Ruko, Holy Stone, and Syma. I liked all 3 pretty well. The Syma company has this "club" you can sign up for, where they will send a free item from their warehouse that has either been refurbished or the packaging/box was damaged. I received a remote helicopter that was fun to fly. My Holy Stone drone I lost when I flew it over a pond. It stopped right in the middle of it and started to land regardless of what I was pushing on the remote. It was the middle of winter
, and I wasn't going after it. That's when I learned not to fly over water, lol!
The Ruko drones are really good and have smooth controls. Total, I have owned 5 drones now. My favorite one is the EXO Ranger 7 plus. It's a mouthful to say, I know. I got mine in red.
