On most of the drone groups/communities/forums, I participate in UAV Forecast seems to be the recommended drone weather app.
I really question UAV Forecast's information.
Right now as I sit in my home office, I'm looking out the window. I haven't been outside yet, but I can see that the trees are not blowing or swaying, yet UAV Forecast is reporting gusts of 30 MPH (at 400 feet) and it is "not okay to fly."
If I go to oktofly.com it says gusts are at 6 MPH (at 400 feet) and it's "okay to fly."
Windy.com says 3 MPH and gusts at 16 MPH.
My local airport is reporting 6.9 MPH.
Windfinder.com says 7 MPH.
So, what do you go by?
