720E won't rotate

My 720E flies great, but I can only rotate the drone for about 20 feet from home, then it won't rotate any longer as I get further from the home. This makes taking pictures very hard! I have contacted customer service and am waiting to hear from them, but was hoping someone else might have any ideas.

your on begins mode in the holy stone program. The drone controls are locked out for beginners. The drone will not respond to input after a short distance

Try to do gyro calibration before you fly.

yup everything is about understanding that program. And the way it works
