Hi everyone, several years ago my brother purchased a Voyager 3, but could never get it to fly. It would always flip over upon takeoff.

I asked to look at it, he didn't want me messing with his new expensive toy, so I never got a chance to do anything with it.

Fast forward several years, and he's cleaning out his office and asks me if I wanted it. (He never did figure it out and just left in on the shelf). He gave it to me, and after changing the batteries in the controller and charging the main battery, it connected and works! But, still has the flight problem.

Took me about 5 minutes, but he has two clock wise props on the counter-clockwise locations! Yep! That will make it fly "in circles" :)

He has TONS of spare blades, but none of the right ones. I've searched EVERYWHERE for blades. I did find a set on the Walkera web site, and ordered them, but never got a confirmation that they were actually being delivered from China. Nothing. Makes me wonder if I sent $30 via PayPal to a dead web site.

Question is, does anyone know if these blades are the same as another drone? Compatible, with ??

I know it's an older unit, but it literally has ZERO flight hours on it.

Thanks!

Have you Googled the make and model of this drone, you might also look for clubs and such that specialize in this drone… I did a quick google, not knowing all the particulars, and some results came back from overseas.

Go to YouTube and you will find lots of videos on this drone and maybe you can contact the folks about their drone.

You might also consider selling it for parts and then using the proceeds to buy a new, modern Drone…

Did you ever find your props? I have some extra parts that came in a milk crate with my drone that I got a couple months ago

If you have any batteries that you would sell or trade for some extra parts that would be great

Or if you happen to know where I can get some batteries. I’ve not even been able to fly mine yet. I’m not sure it has ever been flown but he batteries are toast

Regretfully, some of these units are so design specific and the market is so small and none of the parts and pieces are interchangeable that when they are no longer made, there is no infrastructure for spare parts and they become little more than wall decorations...

Good luck!

Fortunately for me when I bought the drone it came with a milk crate that was full of about any part you could want for it (besides working batteries ;-). If you know anyone that needs parts for that specific model then send them my way lol. Probably 90% of the parts are still in packaging. But ya I know hat your saying. They come out with the next model and then if it is a redesign then you are just SOL on trying to find parts. I ran into that same problem on the yuneec breeze

Few weeks ago I was throwing some trash out in the complex's dumpster and someone had tossed out a voyager 3 drone, the Devo f12e controller (needed minor fixing), Bluetooth data link, three batteries (only 1 dead), charger, and its hard-shell carrying case 😂 people are crazy. I'm completely new to drones so it took me a while to go through the manual and figure everything out.

Unfortunately during my ~6th flight on my first day of flying, I over-corrected a dip and crashed the drone, broke two of its propellers, and the rear skid landing gear got damaged. Probably can work around the landing gear damage..

Anyways did you end up finding any blades? I'm unsure if I should try to replace them or just try to see if I can sell it for parts.

Also thanks for posting about the Walkera store being a scam, was about to buy the parts from there 🤡

For any newbie to the drone hobby, understand this that two motors on a quadcopter turn clockwise and two of them turn counter clockwise. Notice that in the graphic below, notice that the motors number One and Three turn clockwise and the motors numbered two and four turn counterclockwise.

You must install the correct propeller on the correct motor and you cannot mix them.

It’s the difference of sucking and blowing and if the propellers are installed on the wrong motor, the drone will probably flip over…

The correct combination is in the manual and you can also view any number of YouTube Videos for your drone
