New pilot

Greetings from Birmingham Alabama USA, welcome to the forum! We look forward to hearing from you!

Manual mode is acting differently than I expected. See this thread. Manual mode troubles.
I read the thread...

You need to do a lot more research into the dynamics of a drone in flight… To move forward the drone must tilt forward to move forward. The Drone must tilt backwards to fly backwards and the same from side to side…

Have you never watched a drone in flight with your own eyes (not under goggles…). What is funny is to watch a drone in sport mode racing past and you suddenly drop the throttle and watch the drone try to stop on the spot. The drone rears up its nose, throws the motors into full power as it "slams on the brakes" like the cartoon character "Yosemite Sam" trying to stop his mule…

I have seen how a drone acts in flight, but the sim that I was using was acting as if the drone behaved more like a fixed wing aircraft. That was what was confusing me.
