Hi! i'm new to drones. I have been interested for a long time but waited for some maturity in the industry. I'm looking for unbiased information about a good platform to get started on. I'm interested in quality and durability, and in having open standards for media transfer (i.e. no proprietary standards, mandatory apps, or subscription models), and would value the availabi!lity of APIs and/or programmable hardware modules.
