New Holy Stone HS-720 owner

Just got a Holy Stone HS-720, to replace my first generation DJI Phantom after it glitched and flew itself into lake michigan, and not close to shore. It's a nice drone, actually ordered it by mistake on amazon, was looking at the mavic comparing the two of them, and accidently ordered the Holy Stone one.... got it within a couple hours so that was a good thing, and it is a very nice drone. Wondering about compass calibrations per flight, since it only showed the flashing indicator one time and seems to fly ok in a different location than where I set it up at, but before I try to do any flying near the lake or river in downtown Chicago.... want to be sure. More familiar with the first generation Phantom.

HS recommends calibration as a preflight check. That doesn’t mean recalibrating each time yo land in the same battery session, but when the battery gets removed, as in a battery swap, I always recal.

wonder what the easy way to get it in calibration mode is

On my HS710 it’s both joysticks down and to the right , as in 5 o’clock.
