I have been designing and refining a rather large Quad copter. I have purchased ARDUPILOT flight controllers and am working with Mission Planner Here link, etc. I seem to be able to only get so far in my set up and then hit various snags and cannot finish the set up/programing.
I have joined to see if there are others that can help me with this. I am looking for a person or company that can finish the set up or start all over and get my UAV set up and able to test fly it, etc. I am looking to hire a knowledgeable person or company to do this or just pay someone an hourly fee. If interested or you can recommend someone, please let me know.
The equipment I have started working with:
Orange cube+, Here 3 compass/gps, Herelink V1.1 ground station. I have built the Quad and have installed... Four 80KG electric motors, 300amp ESC's, 47" props and 88.8V lipo batteries.
All I am waiting for is to hire or just pay an hourly fee, to someone or some company to help me thru all the setup, etc.

Thank you

I build large multirotor drones using ArduPilot/Copter. However the largest build I have made is a 1200mm wheelbase quad and 800mm Hexacopter. Regardless, principles are the same. You are building a very large quad. I would suggest using multiple redundant systems and a ballistic parachute. Your project will require hands on work. So unless you want to ship the whole setup to someone who can help you, it matters where you are located. I would be happy to offer advice and help you work through the problems you are having. If, by chance you are in middle/east Tennessee (where I live) I would be happy to help in person. I've been fairly successful building ArduPilot quads and Hexacopters, but I am not an expert by any means. How far have you gotten with the build? Have you purchased all the components? What battery configuration are you using. What are you having trouble with? I've never used Herelink but I do use a SIYI MK32 which is very similar. The tuning process and first flight can be intimidating but it's not as difficult as it seems. Let me know if I can help.

Sorry, I see that you are using 88.8v/24s battery. Gyro filter and harmonic notch filtering will be important. The way I was able to get past my initial hurdles was to build a few small quadcopters using ArduPilot/Copter. I understand the trepidation involved with such a large quad. I bought a Radiolink AT9S and Minipix which are relatively cheap. That way if I made a mistake and caused a crash, it wasn't a big loss. Let me know if I can help. I don't mind giving you my contact info if you want.

I'm interested in your project. My goal is to build a piloted octo-rotor similar to the Jetson One.
Hello,

I appreciate you contacting me, I would very much be interested in your help... I am located in Illinois, so not real far away.
It is ironic, as a manned octocopter like the Jetson One is exactly what I am working towards.
My # is 815.993.0363... maybe we could work together. I would be happy to send you pictures of the personal air vehicle I have designed and am currently constructing. If you want call or text my number and I will send you some pictures.
My background is in engineering, aircraft structures and aerodynamics... I am at a loss on the software, setup and tweaking etc,.

Cool. I'm an industrial automation Engineering Tech. It's between a full EE and a advanced industrial controls maintenance tech. So I work in tech too. I'll text you.
