This is my first drone (Bwine F7GB2). Just got it yesterday. I've followed the directions step by step from initial charging of all the batteries and controller, downloaded the app, etc. Everything so far has worked as it is supposed to as far as I can tell, however, after connecting the controller and the drone and it comes time to open the app, when I get to the first screen that shows the bridge over water and the icon for the "Controller" at the right side of the screen, as soon as I click on the icon I receive an error message that states "Error - Please open Permissions". I have no idea what this is referring to. The permissions the app requested were all approved with the exception of access to music on my phone as I don't have any music on my phone (and why does it want that anyway?) I have been unable to find any other "permissions" to open and am unable to get past this screen.

If anyone has a suggestion that might be helpful, I sure would appreciate it.

Thanks.

I fly a DJI Drone and to download the DJI Fly App and install it, I have to go into setup and grant permission for the app to make changes to the phone and tablet (I use both devices…). This is because the app does not come from an "approved source", it comes from DJI and your device (phone or tablet) has the same limitations on the Bwinn App…

To download a file that requires permission on your phone, you typically need to open the file link in SETUP, which will prompt you to grant the necessary app access to download files, and then confirm by selecting "Allow" when asked to provide permission; this usually happens through your phone's settings where you can manage app permissions for features like storage access.

Thank you LoudThunder! I was able to figure it out after hours of messing around. I had to go into the settings on my phone and allow the Bwine app to have access to my location. That's all it was. I appreciate your response.

A simple fix that can be so difficult to figure out. Congrats. I had a somewhat similar issue on an update on the DJI Fly App. I had been using the App for over two-years and on my two tablets the App crashed, but it ran on my phone. I found out that I had to go into the Setup and increase the text size… It took DJI about a week to figure that one out. I then published the fix on all the sites I visit: here, MavicPilots, Community 101, Phantom help, etc…
