First, I am a very experienced DJI pilot (I own three). I few months ago I purchased a new Holy Stone HS720R for my grandson from eBay. Right out of the box, it toilet bowled and skidded along the ground out of control. Recalibration did not help, and I had plenty of satellites. Subsequently, I found a few YouTube videos showing the same problem. Holy Stone will not warrantee it because eBay is not an authorized Holy Stone reseller. Sounds like a flimsy excuse to me. And reseller will not accept returns. So, I was ripped off by the eBay seller, or Holy Stone is aware of this problem and is using eBay as an excuse to make me go away.

Regardless, has anyone else had these flight problems? Is there a remedy? Or should I dump it in the recycle bin, eat what I paid for it, and buy my grandson a Potensic Atom 2.

DO NOT BUY THIS DRONE. IT IS A PIECE OF JUNK. HS720R IS A PIECE OF JUNK. DO NOT BUY.
Took another run at the HS720R. It was a crystal clear day and I had 20 satellites. Calibration went well. It is brand new. and yes, it did exactly the same thing as before.... it hovered well for about 20-30 seconds and then started into a out of control, wild toilet bowl episode. And it was not responding to the remote. It eventually ran square into a tree trunk and fell to the ground upside down, props still trying to spin. What a piece of junk. Oh, did I mention the HS720R is a big pile of junk. And Holy Stone will not replace it for reasons above. Again, what a piece of junk. I really hate to put it in the recyle bin, but I did. Brand new and in the trash. DO NOT BUY THE HS720R.
