I have the HS175g and I have been thinking about getting lightweight strobes for night flying in my bacvkyard. How much will the super lightweight strobes affect the drone's flying performance?

Good to hear it is flying fine.

With small drones I’d just keep an eye on how the strobe is mounted. Even if it is lightweight, placement can matter a bit if it shifts the balance or catches wind.

I’d do a few short test flights first, check hover stability, battery time, and make sure the strobe is secured well before doing longer night flights. Better to keep night flying simple and close until you know how the drone handles with the extra weight.

I attach them with Velcro…one on top and one on bottom….makes it easy to keep in view when flying at night or dim light.. I have not noticed any real differences that I can tell even at the 400 ft limit…I don’t venture to far away at night….. most of my flying is at the farm ..lots of open space and no people to deal with…
