Holy Stone GPS drones and the LG G7 ThinQ phone.

Hi folks... I'm brand new to drones and have a few questions. Got myself a couple of Holy Stones and I'm having trouble getting some phones to see the WiFi from the HS720G. My cheap Moto e6 could not detect it, so got an LG G7 ThinQ which Holy Stone customer support said would work, but again it does not see the WiFi. Both phones connect okay to my cameras and my HS440 drone. My 11 year old Samsung phone and old tablet can see and connect to the HS720G.

My question is has anyone tried the LG G7 ThinQ phone with Holy Stone GPS drones, or any drone? Customer support said the phone has to work with 5GHz WiFi. The specs seem to indicate it should - LG G7 ThinQ - Full phone specifications

This phone has a super bright screen and I saw it recommended as a good phone for drones.

Thanks for the info Ronik. The HS720 has similar innards to mine and does have the 5GHz wifi, so I don't know what my problem could be, I'm thinking it must be the phone, I'll have to investigate further.
