I hope this is correct place, tried a facebook group and kept getting messages rejected.
I was xmas gifted (2024) a set of 4 small drones with a controller. Eldest provided me with a phone to use with it.
I almost immediatly ran out onto lake to try it out.
Auto take off, rotating, etc all worked , impressive tech.
5 minutes in, I tried to actually fly.
Off it went, down frozen lake, gaining altitude, further and further.
I then realized, with no tactile feedback, my fingers were no where near the touch screen "joysticks".
By the time I realized, it had faded further across a frozen lake and seem to no longer respond. Into a white void.
I found it broken on lakeshore about 3KM away this past summer
The poorly translated instructions make no referance to changing controls back to real joysticks.
I cannot find a manufacturers name.
I would love to try these out again and begin a hobby I have long wanted.
Am I missing something?
This has frustrated me enough it has taken just over a year to try again.
