GERIATRIC WITH WIFI PROBLEM

I have a plain old (like me) Chinese drone (X35) that flies great but I have a problem. I can connect the drone WIFI to my phone fine, but within a minute or two the phone disconnects from the drone. When I look at my phone list of available WIFIs the Drone is still listed. If I try to connect the drone WIFI back to my phone my phone will not allow it. Any ideas?

I'm no expert but I'd like to try to help you. I assume you have a home network that you have to disconnect from in order to connect to the drone. Do you have autoconnect enabled on your phone for that home network? If so, you might try disabling autoconnect to see if the drone wifi will stay connected or at least be able to reconnect if the connection is lost. Again . . . not an expert.

I already tried disabling autoconnect but have the same problem. With autoconnect ON it connects to my home wifi. I appreciate your help!
