This sounds a little out there I guess but has anyone noticed that the FIMI X8 series of drones can be rendered all but invisible? What I'm referring to is the remote ID function can be turned on or off all the outside lighting can be turned off including the red and green LEDs and it comes with or you can easily buy an inexpensive attachment to release an object while in flight. I can't think of a good reason a drone would have the option of turning all safety lighting off or turning remote ID off. I understand that the wireless link between drone and remote can still be intercepted but you sure couldn't see it flying over your head at night. You really have to wonder what the engineers at FIMI had in mind by designing this functionality.
