I launched my HS720 this past weekend (2nd flight). It lifted off. I made it gain altitude. It stopped maybe around 100 ft.
I thought it was strange. The one other time I flew it, I was able to go very high, and fly a very long distance away..
So I flew it forward and it stopped maybe 100 ft in front of me. It wouldn't rotate or fly side to side or forward.
Only backwards towards the launch point.
I thought it was a controller issue.
I flew it in front of me again, it stopped.
I walked under it, tried to fly forward but it wouldn't.
It would still fly backwards.

I must have been in some mode that locks it to the take off point.
I didn't see any kind of message.
I didn't see anything in the manual of a mode that does this (reading later after the incident).
The batteries of both the drone and controller were good.
The mode was 2

I didn't have time to try more than that few minutes.

Thanks in advance for help.

WELCOME ABOARD!

What app are you using for the drone, Ophelia Go or M RC Pro? Ophelia Go boots in Beginner Mode by default and will geofence the drone. It should be able to fly 15m/49ft. from the home point and 15m/49ft. high. You have to turn off Beginner mode in the settings each time you start the app. This was added a few updates ago unfortunately. M RC Pro does not do this by default.
