I purchased 2 "Drone Grasping Kits - Hook Grabber" units for a recovery function with my AE86 Pro drone. Both units failed after the initial charge was depleted when they wouldn't recharge.
I haven't been able to find any documentation except advertisement.
Has anyone had the same experience with this product and have you found a way to reset the unit so it will recharge?
Is there any technical documentation or analysis of this product?
When it works it performs well and I haven't found anything comparable that is available on the market.
Does anyone have any experience opening up the case to get access to the internal LiPo battery?

Thanks for any suggestions,

I would like to help, but...

If you have a question like this the least you can do is help your readers by providing some information - who makes it, where you can buy it, what you've got in the way of instructional material, what else was in the box. A picture would be great.

Oh well, I did an internet search for "drone grasping kit" but found the same object in both Amazon and AliExpress catalogues <https://www.amazon.co.uk/LIANXUE-Manipulator-Automatic-Grasping-Quadcopter/dp/B08D6D9GRY> <https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006012315987.html>

Neither of these has any electrics or electronics, so there is no battery to worry about. Moreover the video provided is quite clearly faked.

Another search brings up an item on eBay with a remote control, so it must have a motor <Pardon our interruption...>
In that case it's got to have a battery compartment with a removable cover
