I currently own the DJI Goggles 3 (N3 goggles) and the DJI FPV Remote Controller 3. I'm looking into building a custom FPV drone and considering purchasing the DJI O4 Air Unit for the video transmission.
My main question is:
Can the DJI O4 Air Unit bind directly to my FPV Remote Controller 3 and be used for full RC control, or would I need a separate receiver/transmitter setup (like a Crossfire or ELRS system) for RC control, using the O4 unit only for video feed?
Basically, I'm trying to figure out if the O4 Air Unit fully supports the DJI RC link with my current controller, or if it's just for video transmission in custom builds.
Any help from someone who's done a similar setup would be greatly appreciated!
