I purchase this in 2020 never used it till now . no instruction in foam box . I need to know what the different buttons on the transmitter are . For instance the left joy stick button to the adjacent right and directly below . The right joystick reversed location for the buttons . Below is a selection of 4 buttons left right top and bottom . Can you help me please Cheerwing an ai no help.

Hi from California. There are terrific utube videos, or manufacture videos too. I imagine it depends on the drone. My drones had the controller, and when you start it there are beginner instructions. Generally the tell you to charge controller. If there is no controller, go to an App Store and download their app. For that particular drone. Start there. Remember if your drone is over 250 gm you need to register it- in the US.

Take a class. There are drone pilot books too.

I reread your post.
There is a way to reprogram the joystick functions- is that what you are talking about? If not, there are general rules about the joysticks. It might depend which country you are in- it varies. Watch a lot of utube videos for your drone. There are a lot of new drone pilot mistakes, watch those videos. You need a preflight checklist- may have to register your drone depending on the size. You cannot just fly anywhere- it depends on your airspace. In California all the parks are off limits without a permit. So it good you are checking around!
 
Read some posts and you can get info. This is from another thread but still talks about the layout
