This morning I read an article about a new law in Louisiana. This law gives local and state law enforcement agencies the legal authority to use technology based or kinetic means to disable any drone flying over parades, protests, sensitive locations, TFR areas etc. Additionally, operators of said drones can be charged with serious criminal penalties. Unfortunately, all the negative news coverage of consumer drones being used to drop ordinance in combat situations. Has caused a panic caused by ignorance in the general public. In my opinion, these laws infringe on the rights of lawful drone operators. Similar to fear based, knee jerk anti gun legislation. Once again, certain legislators are stoking fears to distract the public from much more serious political/social issues.

That Law will not advance, or in my opinion, stand up to lawsuits, unless there's ANOTHER executive order, siding with this unlawful Law....Sounds dangerous to me, especially if they are trying to aim at a low altitude and firing indiscriminately
