I'm curious if any of you have any experience with Drone Clone Experts or Flightelf drones. It seems likely that DJI drones will be banned at the end of this year. Last year congress passed legislation requiring a security review of DJI drones to be performed by a federal government agency such as Homeland Second, the CIA or FBI, etc. This review must be completed by the end of 2025. If no review is performed, DJI drones will automatically be banned. This doesn't affect drones already in the US but does stop all new imports. So once what's on store shelves or in US warehouses is gone, that's it. I'm often asked to recommend drones for new users. DJI is the best for the price. Autel is great also but more expensive. Unfortunately, it's likely all Chinese manufactured drones are likely to be banned as well. Drone Clone Experts claims to be manufactured in the US or by US allies. Has anyone owned or operated one of these.
