Yes you should. I've also found with my HS720G after calibration get it in the air and let it hover for 30 seconds or so it seems to stabilize it.

We still carry guns in AZ. I don't think I have a tilt smoothness option, but I think I can slightly move the wheel to slow it down. This video was my 3rd time flying (many hours now but not then).
