I may have made a confusing statement. The Asurion product plan DOES cover the drone as it is indeed considered to be a portable product. So yes, although I have not yet crashed and filed a claim, I am encouraged that if I do it will help cover the cost of repairs. Thanks, -Ron

Holy Stone support responded saying that updating the software/firmware within the drone itself is not currently possible. At least not at this time, not after delivery to the consumer.

I checked with HS Support and they confirmed that climbing to 23' to provide a downward view of the landing location is NOT needed for the HS600 as it does not acquire such an image for RTH purposes. I suspect that this is a dji procedure.

I read somewhere that you should set your phone to Airplane mode with WiFi On and Blue Tooth Off. This was suggested as a way to reduce signal interference and improve communication to the drone. If you are loosing connectivity at 400 ft, try this tip and let us know if it helps. Thanks, -Ron
