It's called getting the TRUST certificate. It's more of a course than a test. Go to Pilot Institute, and take their FREE TRUST course. Shouldn't take more than half an hour, and you can then print your TRUST certificate when you're done.

How does the signal get from the RC to the phone? An extended cable? I don't where you would mount something like this on the RC for the Mini-1 and the Mini-SE. They're both tiny and light..."flimsy" might may be the wrong word, but they sure feel that way compared the to the Mini-2 and FPV...

I'm looking for the same thing, but for use with my Mini-1 and Mini-SE. Because the screen is mounted in the lame "below the sticks" location, I've never been able to find a decent sunshade for it. How does the signal get to the FPV goggles in a set-up like this? Thx

I got it on all of my new Minis, and I just renewed it on two of them. I didn't get it for my FPV, because the cost was ridiculously high, but for the Minis, I think it's worth it.

You'll love the little Mini-SE. It's a joy to fly, and the wind resistance is surprisingly good. If you still have the option to do so, I suggest you get the DJI Care Refresh for the little bird. It has Flyaway coverage, which can be useful if you're flying in very windy conditions. Enjoy!

Check for crud that may have gotten lodged in the motors or on the propeller shafts during the crash. TCS

I'd get the 107 rather than take the chance. If you're a regular airplane pilot, getting the 107 is easy. That's how I got mine. I strongly advise you to take a look at the 107 course at Pilot Institute. It's well done, and IIRC, they have a guaranteed pass option. But if you take the course...
