Passed 107 knowledge test. Applied for certificate and should get temporary in 7 days. Don’t have drone yet but looking at DJI Mini 3 Pro. Really like a Category 1 but don’t know if one exists.

Hello all, new to this. I have a Holystone HS720E and have just ordered a Mavic Mini combo. I am registered as a competent pilot and also as an operator, as required by Civilian Aviation Authority, UK.
Lots of interesting Youtube videos for beginers so I will spend time practicing the exercises. Looking at a map showing places to fly safely and pilot pins, the majority are in the south of England. A bit sparse in the north here.
Take care all.

Hey together,
flying DJI Mini 2 since 2020 for Travel Photography & Videography in Germany. Moving with the family back to the US in a few months and looking now to suck up knowledge/experience to build a business for Videography, Photography Services and some other Services in the future such as mapping/surveying.

I'm just a bit confused as of yet what drone I should upgrade too, which is good for videography, photography and allows 3rd party apps to do mapping/surveying, etc.
Was looking at the DJI Air2S with the RC Pro Controller (Which is apparently required in order to use 3rd party apps).

Hope all have a good day.

HI everyone I'm new to this forum and wish to say hello to everyone,
I've been flying since Christmas when my niece bought me a drone as a present,
She thought it a good idea to give me a hobby and to keep me fit and healthy now that I've retired from work

Hi flyingspider, nice to see another UK new member. Enjoy your new hobby,

Hello from Detroit. New to this forum. Got my first drone in December 2021 but didn’t start flying until Spring 2022 when the weather warmed up. I fly an Air 2 and a Mini 2. Practicing whenever I can. Wish there was somewhere I could get hands-on training. Got my Part 107 cert in 2021 and as a photographer I’m looking forward to capturing good aerial footage.
