New drone pilot here trying to get my feet wet in drone flying. I got a free Mavic Mini (although discontinued) through a company awards program and my first thought was to just go out and have fun flying. NOPE! Found out there are some serious FAA regulations on flying so I figured I'd do my due diligence and get legal so I don't have to fly looking over my shoulder. I first got my TRUST certificate to fly recreationally then just completed & passed the Part 107 just in case I fly commercial in the future. Never know. Hoping to learn a lot on this forum from experienced pilots. Thanks
