Glare on my cell phone

If I could get rid of the glare on my cell phone
We all have this issue, wide brim hats help, wear dark colored clothing, try not to stand with sun over your shoulder, there are also sun screens that block the light like a Sun Visor in your car, they flip up and down… They also make matt screen saver for phone screens, they might help… Also note that polarized sunglasses can "black out" your phone screen when help horizontally…

The main problem with cell phones for a screen is brightness, or lack thereof. I only use drones with built in screen remotes. One reason is I do not like connecting my phone to a Chinese remote and server. (Love the Chinese people but not their government). Secondly, you need a minimum of 700 nits of brightness to be able to see the image when out on a sunny day. Cell phones average between 300 and 500 nits. You can buy small tablets with high brightness screens but they are typically industrial tablets that are expensive. TripleTech makes the cheapest one I know of and it's $400 or more. Drones like most DJI camera drones, Autel and a few others offer remote controllers with 1000 nit screens. These can easily be seen even in direct sunlight. I read somewhere that you can buy anti reflective glass screen protectors which may help. The downside to anti reflective glass is it isn't as clear as regular screen protectors. I don't think Holy Stone offers screen remotes but it's definitely something to consider if you decide to upgrade to more capable platform. Most people who start off with Ruko or Holy Stone soon buy DJI, Autel or other similar higher end drones as they grow into the hobby. They are all fun. Enjoy!

Greetings from Birmingham Alabama USA, welcome to the forum! We look forward to hearing from you!

I am a real newbie. Just bought a Holy Stone HS360E and am having a great time with it. If I could get rid of the glare on my cell phone, I would enjoy the experience much more. Happy to join this forum.
I use the Tripltek Tablet for all my drones. It's bright and larger than my cell phone. I often couldn't even see the screen on my iPhone.
