    HS165 GPS issues

Anytime I have any issue with a drone I chat with the manufacturer, We normally find the fix or I am sent another drone. If you purchased on Amazon go to the site and go to Help. It will take you through some prompts and if they do not work you can contact the manufacturer or seller. Hope this...

    Glare on my cell phone

I am having the same problem with my tablet. I do know for cell phones and other devices, there are anti glare add-ons for screens. Matte seems to be the most promoted. Other than draping a Count Dracula cape over me when trying to see my tablet screen I am looking for anti glare screens that...

Are Lightweight Drones Not "Real" Drones?

I would think if a drone suits a pilots needs then, it’s a real drone.

Hey all, HS 175D not transmitting ptc/vids to phone

Hey Ken, going to ask basic questions. Do you have the Holy Stone app on your phone that lets you link to the drone’s camera? Did you configure the SD card prior to flight? I have an Sd Card within my HS drone and I can view my photos and videos after my flights on either my tablet or phone.

    Tablet for HS 720

I synched my ACER URBAN TURO T1 with the HS 720. Was not an issue. I have heard Samsung does well too. If you don’t have a tablet and no friend that has a tablet to test out the synching, if it were me I would go into a Walmart or best buy and ask to bring my drone in and see if one of their...

    New Jersey "Invasion"?

These renegade pilots are breaking laws. Flying over restricted air space, no type of transmittal devices in order to be tracked and no identifying marks. Those three acts break the law. When caught if the vid/camera footage is available anything linking these people to gathering info in...

    New Jersey "Invasion"?

This is happening in the US and UK. The fact these drones cannot be tracked by the FAA speaks volumes. Regardless of the motive fear at least in VA seems to be springing up. As I look at the local news on line in my area and see comments some people are ready to shoot them down if they see one...

Does a Holy Stone HS720 need to be registered to fly it in the backyard?

If it were me I would check the FAA site for the laws in your state.

    New Jersey "Invasion"?

Virginia has become the next state of sightings. One has to wonder if at this point some of these people are joining the “ring” or flying drones to get attention? Regardless, no transmittal device (2.4 lbs +) , no transmittal device, serial number, pilots number = when caught minimal knock on...

Looks really good. I’m not that handy with tools, but this is doable. I thank you for the suggestion.

    Hello from Pittsburgh

You may need a telecommunication device for your drone. I grew north of the Burgh. The FAA requires an operator number . You can get that by getting your amateur pilots license, if you don’t have one. Don’t worry, it’s not that difficult to get one. I know I am near the air port and have to...

New Member - Old Guy Needs Help

This may not be the same model. However, going thru the remote and lever functions may help you get started. I read my manual. Then went out into a field and tested the functions and eventually got them down pat. https://www.dronesdirect.co.uk/files/pdf/PFBD302_20210401.pdf

I’m not sure if this is your voyager drone. If it is not, a model number would be helpful. Here is a link to one of their drones. https://manuals.plus/voyage/voyage-hd-streaming-video-drone-instruction

Lanyard For HS 720 Remote Control

I can’t seem to find an opening to latch a lanyard on to my remote in order to keep from dropping it. I have a chest harness for tablets coming from GIG Gear for Tablets. Now, I am looking for a lanyard or similiar to transport my remote into the field. All suggestions welcome. Greg
