    You should have a nice time filming your area then. I got permission from several wineries in Santa Ynez to video their grounds. Got some very nice footage. Last time I went a few weeks ago, left the drone at home and concentrated on wine tasting. 🍷😎

    Video Editor - any recommendations?

    I use iMovie. It has a surprising amount of pro features. But that is Mac based. Many recommend DaVinci. Runs on Mac as well as Windows. I haven't tried that one yet. There is a learning curve to any software but you should be able to find a ton of tutorials on YouTube for any editing software.

    What aircraft do you fly?

    Currently DJI Phantom 4 Pro v2. Past birds, P2, P3, P4 Advanced and Inspire 2 v2. I too have the red flag on the gimbal lock. On prior drones, I have forgotten a couple times. Not a good thing.
