@mcdave61 there have been several firmware updates recently both for the RC and the drone which have improved the flight experience, plus some app updates as well ,you will probably be prompted to do them ,after you set everything up for the first time the bottom of the drone does get quite hot...- old man mavic

One blade won’t stop spinning on my HS 110D.
sounds like possible ESC damage due to the motor being obstructed when it was in the tree or a broken wire between the ESC and motor- old man mavic

you can give a short press of the RTH button on the controller which will cancel the RTH and it will just hover and wait for you to decide what your next move will be- old man mavic
