I had a similar issue with my HS100G where I didn't have a connection to battery condition. Found out you must follow directions to th T for binding the transmitter to the drone. Hope that helps. Worked for me.

Similar problem. Can fly ok but battery condition is not present on screen on phone. Shows dead battery all the time. Battery is actually good. Camera and controls work fine. No help from Holy Stone. They say my HS100G is discontinued with no support.
