Learning how to fly

Looking for help-Can’t figure out what’s going on when my c-fly faith 2s is up and I go to activate the camera the screen comes on for a second and then it cuts out. It seems as if I can’t get app to stay open long enough for it to connect.

Did you put your phone in Airplane mode?

I’m very new to drones, so I don’t have the answers for you. I was very busy watching out that the drone didn’t get away from me.
